Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Cub Trail is a zoo-trail companion game for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what happens to information inside the app. It applies to the app only.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect any information. The app has no servers of its own, does not require sign-in, and makes no network requests to send your data anywhere. We never receive your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers or usage statistics.
3. Information stored on your device

This information is never uploaded by Cub Trail. If you use iCloud or iTunes device backups, Apple may include the app's data in those backups under Apple's own privacy terms.
4. Camera and photo library
The app asks for camera access only when you tap Camera in the visit journal, so you can take a photo at the zoo. Photos from your library are chosen through Apple's system photo picker, which gives the app only the images you select. Selected or captured photos are resized and saved inside the app on your device. They are not uploaded, analysed or shared. You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, Cub Trail schedules local reminders on your device — for example, when a daily quiz is ready or when your sanctuary animals get hungry. These notifications are created on your device; no push service or server is involved. You can turn them off in the app's Settings screen or in iOS Settings.
6. Third parties
Cub Trail contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics tools or social-media plug-ins. Music and sound effects are generated inside the app.
7. Children
Cub Trail is suitable for a general audience, including families. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Deleting your data
Use Settings › Reset all progress in the app to erase your progress, favourites and journal (including photos). Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
9. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. All data remains under your control on your device. This applies equally to users in the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA) and elsewhere.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
